When I first started the car it was running crazy lean and would not hold idle. I unhooked the wastegate and boost control solenoid. Right now I’ve got 12v and grnd correct, but I’m not sure on the trigger and home connections. You may also like.

So just for fun I raised the whole map to and hoped to feel a difference and sadly no luck either. So then I decided to install the boost control solenoid hoping to gain more boost to 14 or 17 psi but it doesn’t work. Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or clntroller packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

Haltech uses a highly durable short stroke solenoid to increase durability, longevity and of course accuracy of the valve. Now I know the external wastegate is doing its job because before Bolst installed the haltech boost control solenoid I ran a hose from the turbo housing to the side of the waste gate and my car boosts 9 psi at full throttle. I wonder what could be wrong.

One of the latest features is also the implementation of closed loop boost control where all that needs to be done is tell the ECU exactly what boost to run at each RPM and the computer computes the opening duty conttoller of the boost control solenoid automatically — this feature accounts for changes in air temperature, barometric pressure, intercooler heatsoak and any other unexpected factors that may effect inlet air temperature and pressures.
Currently they are ylw Haltech trigger to blk cas, and grn haltech home to wht cas. I have the dpo2 wire going to one of the ends of the solenoid and the other wire is connected to that one gray with red wire.

Now in the open loop map I tested at 0 output values and I get 9 psi under boost. The boost control feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes. I have one of the fittings on the solenoid going like this.

I have a 44mm external wastegate with a 11 psi spring and I dont know haltecb its doing its job. Thank you for your help. I tuned the ecu from scratch. I don’t know why it boosts 9 if I have an 11 psi spring maybe I have an exhaust leak?.
