He may have been respected, but no one wanted his books any more. If the above sounds a little like a horror story, any horror is redeemed by the fact that Momo is the narrator, whose humour shines through, especially for his childish lack of understanding of some events and language. The hardest part for me was the ending which I will not give away.

This page was last edited on 7 Octoberat Perhaps I had overly high expectations for this book as it was a good friend’s favorite book of all time. I was just never really drawn into this book. The book itself is five stars.
